EON, the largest public relations firm in the Philippines, announced that marketing communications expert Dean Dee has joined its management team as Vice President for Business Operations.
Dean’s entry is seen to further deepen EON’s bench of communication experts, which includes some of the best minds behind many results-driven and award-winning public relations campaigns in the Philippines.
“Dean’s deep understanding of brands and markets will take the EON team from strength to strength and allow us to meet our clients’ goals more effectively and efficiently. We are excited to work with him in the delivery of EON’s long-term strategic targets which aim to keep us well ahead in the industry in terms of innovative communication, client services delivery, and business growth,” said Junie del Mundo, EON Chair and Chief Executive Officer.
Dean will be responsible for meeting the operational requirements of EON business units, including Client Services (EON’s Corporate and Consumer PR practices) and Tangerine (EON’s Design and Events arm). He will report directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Before joining EON, Dean was a Division Head at Publicis Manila, one of the top advertising agencies in the Philippines, where he advised some of the largest advertisers and popular brands in the country on their various marketing communication needs. He also worked as a Strategic Planning Director at Bates 141 Philippines and as a Regional Account Director at M&C Saatchi in Singapore.
A graduate of the Boston University in Massachussets, Dean has a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Minor in East Asian Studies.
