PEOPLE: The Core Resource of EON

 

Junie Del Mundo is the CEO of EON The Stakeholder Relations Firm. Under his leadership, EON is regarded as the pioneering stakeholder relations firm that puts TRUST at the heart of its collaborations and dialogues with different stakeholders of its clients. He is a prolific speaker in business discussions hosted by various business chambers and clubs, such as the ECCP, ANZCHAM, AMCHAM, MBC, and MAP where he shares insights on reputation management, CSR Communications and other vital topics.

Prior to establishing EON, Junie was a career diplomat for 13 years and served at the Philippine Embassies in Paris, France; Dakar, Senegal; and at the Philippine Mission for UNESCO in Paris. He represented the Philippines in multinational fora such as UNESCO, ASEAN, APEC, and Asia-Europe Business Forum.


Aside from being CEO of EON, Junie is a believer in volunteerism. He believes in acting as an ‘advocate’s advocate’, where EON enables and multiplies CSR efforts with its trusted clients and partners. EON’s past and present advocacies include branding the Philippines; support to national initiatives; volunteerism; education; and culture and the arts. 

Junie was educated in the Philippines, the United States and France. He was a Fulbright scholar and an Asia Foundation fellow.

Leana Farrales-Carmona is EON’s Chief Operating Officer. She ensures that the client servicing teams work hand-in-hand with clients, partners, and EON’s support services to develop and execute communications strategies in a relevant and timely manner.  

Her success in developing communications strategies and campaigns for clients in a wide range of industries is based on her extensive experience spanning over fifteen years.  She has previously held  senior management positions in public affairs, communications, marketing, strategic planning, and business development at Carbon Resolutions PLC, Smartcool Phils Systems Inc., BMW Philippines, Globe Telecom, Prudential Corp. Asia, PLC, Dept. of Energy, CalEnergy, Consultus Advertising.

Leana graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University and acquired her MBA in the Arthur D. Little School of Management in Boston, Massachusetts.

Leana is a dedicated triathlete, and competitive golfer, with keen interest in all sorts of sports, culinary arts, and travelling.

Michael A.S. San Diego is EON’s Chief Finance Officer. He manages and monitors the company’s overall financial performance and provides strategic insights to business development on growth opportunities.

Since joining EON in 2007, Mike is instrumental in strengthening the company’s financial and administrative frameworks in compliance with industry practices and government regulations.

Prior to joining EON, Mike was a full time consultant for more than 7 years doing operations review, financial audit, and training in accounting, sales & operations. He also worked for various multinational and local companies for more than 15 years including Tupperware, FILA, La Campana Fabrica de Tabacos, and SPI Technologies.

Mike graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He eventually earned his Masters degree in Business Administration from the De La Salle University’s (DLSU) Graduate School of Business. He is recognized as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Professional Regulatory Commission and a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) by The Institute of Financial Consultants.

Mike likes to travel and to watch movies at home He is also an avid collector of Hard Rock pins and Starbucks Mugs from different countries. Aside from these interests, Mike supports World Vision and volunteers as external auditor for Hands on Manila.  

 

Jeanie Javelosa is a co-founder of EON and its Creative Director. She is a writer, book author, award-winning visual artist, curator, culture expert and advocate for the sustainable lifestyle. Her insights and concepts provide the creative impetus to the holistic, powerful and engaging stakeholder relations and branding strategies of EON.

Her past positions and consultancies in government cultural agencies such as the Malacanang Palace Museum, Cultural Center of the Philippines, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts have given her the experience of handling international culture and information projects between the Philippines, other ASEM and European member countries. She was also the Inaugural Director of the Australia Council and presently runs the Yuchengo Museum.

Aside from having a number of solo painting exhibitions to her name, Jeannie is a sought-after speaker for topics such as culture, country branding, wellness, and contemporary spirituality. She has held regular columns in local publications for more than 20 years, and for the past eight years with the Philippine Star. She continues to produce books, some of which have won Manila Critics Awards.

Jeannie is an advocate for the green sustainable lifestyle throuh her social enterprise ECHOstore Sustainable Lifestyle and Le Bistro Vert Sustainable Foods. A certified yoga teacher, she also runs ECHOyoga.

Jeannie is a graduate of the Assumption College and the University of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania where she finished her Masters in Fine Arts, minor in Art History.

Jojo Lacanilao is EON’s Director for Legal and Public Affairs. Mr. Lacanilao served for twenty-years as a career diplomat of the Philippines holding senior diplomatic posts in Greece, Poland, Saudi Arabia and the United Nations in New York.

Mr. Lacanilao’s extensive expertise lies in the areas of negotiations and diplomacy, conflict resolution, and legal and political affairs.

Jojo is a sports enthusiast and writer for spirituality in his spare time.

Nini Montemayor-Santos is EON’s Director for Branding and Research. She is EON’s specialist in stakeholder relations and communication research, and oversees key projects on international conference management.  With 5 years at EON and counting, Nini has handled accounts in various sectors like energy, manufacturing, finance, broadcasting, multilateral, and government.  Her expertise has created a number of successes with EON’s clients and partners, such as the Asian Development Bank, Bahay Financial Services, ABS-CBN Global, the Provincial Government of Cavite, to name a few.  

Prior to EON, Nini has 6 years of experience in the Department of Foreign Affairs as Asia Pacific Coordinator of the Overseas Absentee Voting Secretariat, and as Senior Emigrant Services Officer in the Commission on Filipinos Overseas. As a former civil servant, Nini was part of the core team that managed the first overseas absentee voting for Filipinos worldwide.  She also conducted research and provided inputs in the preparation of policy recommendations concerning Filipinos overseas and Filipino international migration.

Nini has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Research in the University of the Philippines. She has also undergone training for Practical Project Management in the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

Nini has recently discovered yoga and is a keen chorale singer.

 

Malyn Molina is EON’s Assistant Vice President for Client Services. Malyn joined EON with 12 years of experience in public relations where she honed her expertise in account servicing, project management, media relations and event handling while building and maintaining relationships with clients, industry players, investment community, creative groups, and partners in media.

 

Prior to joining EON, Malyn has previously held senior account management posts at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Fuentes Publicity Network, Inc. and Buensalido and Associates where she supervised and managed major accounts such as Ford, Motorola, Goodyear, Mazda, Nike, Levi’s, Bayer-Schering, MasterCard International, Louis Vuitton, Citibank, Nivea, SMART Communications, Furla, and Sony Music.

 

Malyn graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science, majoring in Behavioral Studies.

 

Maj Marbibi is EON’s Director for Media Relations. She ensures that the organization maintains and enhances its strategic relationships with the national and regional media. Her career in media relations has spanned almost 10 years, giving her strong connections with writers and editors of the country’s main media channels.

Prior to re-joining EON in 2009, Maj was the General Manager and Owner of ComTrends PR and Media Consultancy Services, where she supervised the day-to-day account management in the PR and Publicity Department and overall media relations for the agency’s clients.

She has managed various accounts in healthcare, information technology, lifestyle, education and corporate. Among the major brands she handles are Microsoft XP, SAP Philippines, Siemens Mobile, CITEM E-Services 2009, Digital Exchange, Shell Philippines, Asian Development Bank, BMW Philippines and VISA.

She handled award-winning campaigns such as the Pfizer Loving Care Campaign and Ayala Text to Teach, which both won the 2004 IABC Gold Quill Award of Merit and 2004 PR Week Certificate of Recognition in Hong Kong.

Maj finished her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Santo Tomas, majoring in Communications Arts.

Nico Reyes is EON’s Business Development and Marketing Manager. He is usually the point of first contact for prospective clients of EON. Nico also continually innovates the service offerings of EON and makes sure that these remain as relevant and timely communications solutions for the Philippine market and even beyond. He also provides strategic support to account management teams specifically in the areas of planning, crisis communications, project management, and client consultations.

Nico has been with EON for more than 5 years and has handled various positions serving under the Executive Office, account and event management, and creative services.

Nico graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Angeles University Foundation.

Rondell Torres is EON’s Corporate Affairs Manager. He heads the corporate communications initiatives of EON, specifically in the areas of CSR and advocacies, partnerships, and speaking and writing engagements.

Rondell has extensive experience in accounts and project management, public relations, and new media and graphic design with successful projects for companies like Bayer Healthcare, HSBC, American Express, Rebisco, Far Eastern University, Hands On Manila, I Can Serve Foundation, The Asia Society, and the British Museum Company.

He has also recently completed his Masters in Marketing Communications from the London College of Communications, of the University of the Arts London where he finished with Distinction. Prior to that, Rondell graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Rondell is interested in graphic design, photography, yoga, and sustainable lifestyles.
