Issue Analysis and Stakeholder Mapping

Issue Analysis and Stakeholder Mapping

Situation Analysis and Issue Analysis
Local and national developments, distinct market features, and socio-demographic and political indicators are monitored and analyzed periodically to provide clients with a firm basis for strategic planning and for developing responsive stakeholder relations. The information derived from this exercise is also analyzed to provide a basis for communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Stakeholder Mapping
Stakeholder Mapping is a process that helps identify key stakeholders who are likely to have an influence upon specific interests or developments that are vital to the client. It identifies key influencers and stakeholders for the client’s campaign, putting into context the level of relationships created by the brand/corporation. This determines which stakeholder should be engaged at a particular point to achieve the objectives of the communications plan, or which stakeholder groups will most likely oppose the implementation of the action plan. A calculated contingency plan is also developed to minimize risks that may occur during the course of the campaign. The stakeholder mapping process generates indicators that will help clients develop responsive stakeholder engagement programs, as well as communication activities.
