Recognizing the need to promote public awareness on the importance of whole grain to a healthy breakfast regimen, Nestlé recently launched its Healthier Breakfast Advocacy through the Whole Grain. Dubbed as the “Whole Grain Campaign,” it is part of Nestle’s Nutrition and Wellness program. EON organized a kick-off activity that was attended by luminaries in the medical, scientific, and educational communities headed by top health experts of the country and a multi-awarded international scientist. Nutrition Specialists from the different school districts were also on hand to benefit from the presentations of experts on the nutritional value of whole grain to children’s wellness and better school performance. The event generated good coverage in major health and lifestyle sections of broadsheets and magazines. |
